About the project
GenovaCam is a small Python service that downloads webcam images from the Comune di Genova on a fixed interval and serves the most recent ones over an HTTP endpoint. It is deliberately simple: a scheduled HTTP request, the image written to disk and a failed download logged instead of ending the run.
